Lullaby Archive Project
An ever growing playlist and mail art project begun in December 2022 to crowdsource the important and most intimate songs that are passed down through generations and within communities. I am especially interested in how popular songs are adapted for personal use to care, soothe, or commune with loved ones and whether the songs you sing are the ones that were sung to you.
The collected lullabies are added to the lullabyarchive.com repository and posted as a continuous playlist on instagram @lullabyarchive
These songs that span decades, genres, and cultures are meant to be shared, sung, and listened to for free.
